Can walkers participate?
You betcha! This is an event for runners and walkers of all abilities. Please Note: all participants must complete the half marathon within a 5 hour course time limit. Course support will close at 1:00pm.

Can I bring my dog to run/walk with me?
Although we love furry friends, we ask that your four-legged running companion stay home to due to safety reasons.

Are strollers/baby joggers allowed on the course?
Jogging strollers will be allowed, however those runners pushing a jogging stroller MUST line up at the back of the pack as a courtesy for fellow participants.

Is there an age requirement to participate?
You must be 12 years old prior to race day to participate in the Half Marathon. There is no age limit to the 5K.

Will runners and walkers receive a medal?
All finishers will receive a finisher medal. Awards will also be given to the top 3 finishers in each male and female age divisions in the half marathon. The top 3 finishers in each male and female age division in the 10K & 5K will get a medal.

How can I Volunteer?
We rely heavily on volunteers to make this event run in true Texas style. We need hundreds of volunteers to work Packet Pickup, staff the aid stations, holler along the course and to offer support to the runners and walkers at the start and finish. Information about job descriptions, shift times as well as volunteer registration can be found at RunSignUp.

Will wheelchair athletes be allowed?
There is not a separate wheelchair division. If you are a wheelchair athlete, please contact results@iruntexas.net for more information.

How do I register for the Outlaw Half Marathon, 10K & 5K?
Online registration is at RunSignUp.

The Post-race celebration looks like fun, but I can’t run or walk the race. Can I still take part in the Post-race celebration?
You betcha. For spectators and supporters who want to eat and drink, a Partner Pass can be purchased online at RunSignUp. Partner Passes will also be available on race day while supplies last. You can pick up your Partner Pass wristbands at the race under the Partner Pass tent. 100% of the Partner Pass fee goes directly to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

For spectators and supporters who want to eat or drink, a full pint (includes a beer!) or half pint (includes soda or water) can be purchased during registration at RunSignUp. Partner Passes will also be available on race day while supplies last. 100% of the Partner Pass fees will go directly to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

What if there is inclement weather?
The race will go on as scheduled even if the weather ain’t good - in rain or shine, sleet or snow. Outlaws run even if the creeks a’risin’. Only in the event of severe weather conditions will we cancel the race (No refunds due to weather). We will not postpone the race due to inclement weather. Please check your weather forecast prior to race day and plan accordingly.


Will there be a bag drop?

There will not be bag drop for this event since parking is so close to the start/finish.

Where do I park?
Luckenbach loves a crowd and parking is available within walking distance to the start/finish line.

Will everyone who registers (even on race day) get a race shirt?
To be guaranteed a shirt, you must register for the race before March 6th. If you register after this date, you will not be guaranteed a shirt.

My plans have changed and I cannot attend the race, can I still get my t-shirt and swag?
Yes, you can pick up your t-shirt at packet pick up, or you can pick it up after the race. Please email jess@iruntexas.net for questions.

I would like to change the distance I registered for, can I do that?

Yes, you can make changes at the race or at packet pick up. You will be required to pay the difference to increase distances, and we will not be able to offer refunds if you move to a shorter distance race.

I registered for the 5K/10K//Half Marathon, but my plans changed. Can I transfer my bib to another runner?
No, sorry due to liability issues, we will not allow bib transfer. NO EXCEPTIONS, ‘ya hear! No refunds or transfers.

What happens if I get injured and can’t run my race?
Race entries are non-refundable and non-transferable. There are no refunds or canceled entries. Read our refund policy.

Are headphones, iPODS/MP3 players allowed on the course?
You may wear your headphones, iPODS or MP3 players, however we ask that you keep the volume at a reasonable level for your own safety and out of courtesy for fellow participants.

Help Desk and Lost & Found
You can ask questions at the Outlaw merchandise tent or at packet pick up. They, or any Split Second staffer will be able to help you. A help desk will be available to assist you with any race day questions and help you find your way. The help desk will also serve as the race day Lost & Found booth.

Mylaps Electronic Timing
This event will be staged and timed by Split Second Productions.  We'll use Mylaps bibtags. No more tag on your shoe. It's built into your bib.
