Git your runnin’ duds, y’all, and make runnin’ memories with your friends at the Outlaw Half Marathon and 5K in Luckenbach Texas. Run under them blue Texas skies, along Texas scenic country roads and finish at the famous Luckenbach post office where ain’t nobody feelin’ no pain. Afterwards, stay a spell and enjoy Shiner Beer, local Texas wine and raise a ruckus with live Texas tunes.

Outlaw Half Marathon and 5K is proud to pardner with and benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in their mission to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma, as well as improve the quality of life of patients and their families.

The little town of Luckenbach Texas, where “Everybody’s Somebody” is a historic stop through old-time Texas, which includes a post office, general store and beer joint. Tourists visitin’ Fredericksburg love to stop in Luckenbach and now runners have a favorite Texas destination race to hang their hat on! Just down the road a piece from San Antonio (about 65 miles) and over yonder from Austin (about 75 miles), this town is deep in the Texas Hill Country.

Race Photos

Smile purdy! A photographer will be at the finish line and along the course snappin’ photos. An email will be sent to all race participants the week following the race to let you know when proofs are ready.

Pardner Pass
All race participants receive the benefits of stayin’ for the rowdy after party. For runnin’ spectators and supporters who want to eat, drink and join in the celebratin’, a Pardner Pass can be purchased online through Get Me Registered or on race day while supplies last. Wrist bands will be available on race day under the Pardner Pass Tent.

  • There are two options:
    Full Pint Pardner Pass: $20 (includes after-celebration activities plus food plate and beer)
  • Half Pint Pardner Pass: $10 (includes after-celebration activities plus food plate and soda)

  6:00 AM - Packet Pickup
  7:45 AM - Registration Closes
  8:00 AM - Half Marathon and 5K Start
  8:45 AM - Beer Garden Opens
  9:30 AM - 5K Awards
10:45 AM - Half Marathon Awards
12:00 PM - Beer Garden Closes (all alcohol will stop being served at 12pm but can be purchased in Luckenbach)
  1:00 PM - Course Closes (all half marathon participants must complete the half marathon within a 5-hour time limit)

Race Perks

Race participants will receive an ASICS technical t-shirt in men’s or women’s sizes. All half marathon finishers will receive a finisher’s award that’s better than sliced bread! All runners receive entry to stay and paint the town and celebrate with live music, beer, ‘n fixins.

- Awards will be presented to the top Male and Female Overall and Masters for the Half Marathon - sponsored by ASICS
- Awards will be presented to the top 3 in Age Groups in the Half Marathon. Age groups include 19 & Under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, etc., to 70+
For Guys &Gals in the 5K
- Awards will be presented to the top Male and Female Overall and Masters for the 5K - sponsored by ASICS
- Awards will be presented to the top 4 in Age Groups in the 5K. Age groups include 14 & Under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, etc. to 70+

Chip Timing is required for awards. No duplicate awards will be given.

**All Half Marathon Finishers will receive a one-of-a-kind finisher’s award.
